Job Description & SummaryYour mission: Our Alternatives Valuation Services practice (AVS) comprises a team of talented valuation professionals coming from various horizons including Assurance and Advisory Lines of Services. They all share the same passion for delivering expertise and value of the highest standards to clients.As a Senior Associate within AVS, your responsibilities will be to perform and carry out valuation analysis and reviews of a wide spectrum of assets (Private Equity, Private Debt & Infrastructure assets, as well as Intangible assets) in assessing the reasonableness of valuations and financial models in the context of financial reporting and assurance related engagements, as well as the opportunity for exposure to advisory engagements across the Alternatives industry such as valuation, process implementation and review, data analytics and benchmarking.Be a part of our team where you will:

• Have 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role;

• Graduated from an economics, business and/or management school with a focus in finance;

• An excellent academic background;

• Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of valuation principles and techniques (income, market, and asset based approach) with regards to business valuation;

• Strong analytical skills, problem solver, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, autonomous and enjoying working in a multi-cultural environment;

• Ability to research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and financial matters, while demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills;

• Are flexible when adapting to changing client needs and market conditions;

• Able to manage multiple threads of tasks and / or engagements;

• Have proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members, and contribute to a collaborative team environment;

• Have sound knowledge of recognized valuation guidelines, such as IPEV guidelines or IVS;

• Have sound knowledge of industry software and tools (i.e. Bloomberg, S&P CapIQ, and/or advanced Excel modelling);

• Have knowledge of option pricing models;

• Have a perfect command of English, both written and verbally, within a professional services business environment;

• Are receptive to feedback and uses reflection to develop strengths and address developmental areas;

• Seek and embrace opportunities to gain exposure to a wide spectrum of reviews;

• Have the command of French or German language as an asset and any additional language would be considered as a plus;

• Have IT knowledge as a plus;

• Have a professional qualification in progress (CFA, CAIA, ACA, RICS…): it would be considered as a plus.
