Your Role We are looking for a experienced and dynamic Site Manager to lead two of our warehouses here in Contern. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, including operations, customer service, office functions, and IT. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, strategic planning expertise, a talent for customer orientation and a proven track record in driving performance and achieving company goals. • Warehouse Operations: Plan, direct, and implement warehouse operations to meet productivity and service goals. Develop systems for managing facilities, resources, and products profitably;
• Performance Management: Supervise operational processes and staff, maintain Key Performance Indicators, and initiate corrective actions to meet financial and quality targets;
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with local managers;
• Resource Planning: Establish long-term labor needs and manage material resource planning;
• Team Leadership: Lead team meetings, ensure effective communication, and maintain daily planning and shopfloor board meetings;
• Financial Oversight: Manage P&L, establish annual budgets, and control costs to meet service and performance goals;
• Customer Relations: Maintain strong customer relationships, organize review meetings, and ensure customer service standards are met;
Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality requirements, safety policies, and relevant regulations.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Education & Experience: University degree in logistics or similar, with at least 3 years of management experience in a warehouse environment, including P&L responsibility;
• Strong Contract Logistics experience is essential: Logistics Expertise: In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, goods flows, storage optimization, stock accuracy, and contract logistics costs;
• Leadership Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, coach and develop your team in an exemplary and motivational manner;
• Decision-Making: Capable of making decisions under pressure, with strong analytical and numeric skills;
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in IT solutions, MS Office, and implementing corresponding IT solutions;
• Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is beneficial;
• Experience with shift models and automated processes.
