Our team
The Luxembourg office is part of Eversheds Sutherland’s wider Benelux offering, which also includes our teams in Brussels and the Netherlands. As a fast-growing and ambitious practice, the Benelux team advises clients on both domestic and international matters, working closely with colleagues across the global Eversheds Sutherland network.
Our lawyers in the Benelux are active in a range of key practice areas, including M&A, Financial Services, Banking & Finance, Tax, Corporate Notarial Services, Litigation, Real Estate & Planning, Employment & Pensions and Data, Privacy & Technology. Together, we serve clients across sectors such as industrials, TMT, energy, financial institutions, and life sciences.
Role and key responsibilities
This is a varied and pivotal role in our growing Luxembourg office, reporting to the Benelux Practice Group Support Manager.
Luxembourg is one of our smaller offices in the Benelux region. Given its size, we are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a multifaceted role and is eager to support across all areas of the office.
This is not your typical legal Personal Assistant position. In addition to the usual PA duties, the successful candidate will also take on reception and office management responsibilities. From managing diaries and preparing documents to welcoming clients, ordering supplies, and helping organise client events, this is a role for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly.
You’ll work closely with the on-site Receptionist and become an integral part of the local team. We're looking for someone who is proactive, enthusiastic, and ready to become a key player in the day-to-day running of the office.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Diary and email inbox management for fee earners
• Matter opening, document preparation, and digital filing
• Running WIP reports and supporting billing-related tasks
• Using tools such as Power BI to support reporting needs
• Acting as a go-to person for day-to-day office coordination
• Supporting the onboarding of new joiners and serving as a central point of contact for general operational matters
Skills and experience
We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a varied, international setting:
• Previous experience working in a law firm in Luxembourg is a requirement
• Experience within an international or global firm is advantageous, but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• A proactive and hands-on approach, with excellent attention to detail
• Confidence using legal tech platforms and other document and case management tools
