JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow reports.
• Monitor and control costs across all departments.
• Ensure proper internal controls, audits, and compliance with tax and financial regulations.
• Partner with management to analyze revenue, expenses, and KPIs, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Support capital expenditure planning, procurement processes, and vendor contract reviews.

• Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with guest experiences.
• Foster teamwork and accountability within the finance team.

INNOVATION

• Implement financial systems and tools to streamline reporting and improve accuracy.
• Introduce new cost-control and monitoring mechanisms to optimize profitability.
• Stay ahead of industry accounting practices and adapt processes to support innovation.

CURATION

• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenues to maintain financial balance across operations.

LEADING THE WAY

• Uphold integrity, transparency, and ethical standards in all financial practices.
• Curate financial insights that support decision-making and sustainable business growth.
• Champion sustainability by aligning financial planning with ESG goals.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA certification preferred).
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with local tax laws.
• Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite (Excel expertise required).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Ability to lead teams with integrity, accuracy, and a focus on results.
