We currently have a vacancy for a SharePoint Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Design, document, deploy, and maintain document collaboration solutions, primarily based on Microsoft SharePoint platforms;
- Manage the SharePoint systems and their underlying components, including MS SQL Server databases, monitoring systems, log management systems and ancillary components;
- Develop and evaluate Proof of Concept (PoC) and prototype infrastructure solutions;
- Provide expert assistance to relevant stakeholders in the administration and optimization of SharePoint and Microsoft 365-based systems, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of security, performance, and availability;
- Deliver expert technical support on SharePoint and related technologies, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, monitoring, and providing technical guidance as needed.
Requirements
- Masters degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
- At least 15 years of experience in designing, configuring and leading the administration of large SharePoint environments;
- Experience in identifying and mitigating technical risks associated with migrating document collaboration systems from on-premises to cloud-based environments;
- Experience in implementing SharePoint-based collaboration platforms with a strong focus on SQL database management;
- Experience in implementing secure and efficient Identity and Access Management (IAM) during SharePoint migrations;
- At least one version of SharePoint technical certification (Administration or Configuration) and at least one version of additional technical certification in technology related to SharePoint (Identity Access management, SQL administration, etc.) (2010 or later) is required;
- Excellent command of the English and French language.
