Tasks: The Expert in Document Collaboration Systems is expected to undertake design and operational tasks as assigned by the relevant Project and Service Managers. The service provider is also expected to take proactive measures to maintain existing systems, continuously monitor their performance, and optimize availability and reliability, operating with a high degree of autonomy. ? Design, document, deploy, and maintain document collaboration solutions, primarily based on Microsoft SharePoint platforms. ? Manage the SharePoint systems and their underlying components, including MS SQL Server databases, monitoring systems, log management systems and ancillary components. ? Design and implement technical safeguards to protect information in accordance with the system requirements for handling Sensitive Non-Classified (SNC) information, as defined by the European Commission?s Security Directorate. ? Develop and evaluate Proof of Concept (PoC) and prototype infrastructure solutions. ? Support Project and Service Managers and solution architects in identifying technical solutions to address functional or regulatory challenges. ? Participate in coordination and project meetings, providing expert technical input and contributing to planning and decision-making processes. ? Provide expert assistance to relevant stakeholders in the administration and optimization of SharePoint and Microsoft 365-based systems, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of security, performance, and availability. ? Deliver expert technical support on SharePoint and related technologies, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, monitoring, and providing technical guidance as needed. ? Operate as part of the Digital Workplace Programme and the SharePoint Services teams. ? Responsible for delivering hands-on operational services, with all activities recorded in the appropriate incident, request, problem, change, and configuration management systems. ? Respond to requests for technical expertise from team members and other stakeholders. Responses may be delivered in various formats, including architecture documentation, troubleshooting guidelines, technical reports, deployment procedures, or other relevant deliverables. ? Responsible for investigating technical issues and supporting the analysis of potential solutions, under the guidance and supervision of the Programme Management team. On-call services- The contracting authority may request the service provider to be on-call for the delivery of the services. On-call services consist of having the service provider immediately available (via phone, chat or other means agreed with the contracting authority) when the service provider is not on-site and promptly available to come on-site if necessary. Profil candidat: The Expert in Document Collaboration Systems plays a key role in the design, planning, implementation, maintenance, and administration of collaboration solutions, with a primary focus on Microsoft SharePoint platforms. This service provider provides high technical skills and leadership, collaborating with operations teams on application administration, security, and compliance, while coordinating system changes and monitoring activities with all relevant technical stakeholders. With deep expertise in Microsoft SharePoint and its underlying technical stack, the service provider brings extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing each component of the ecosystem. They ensure that all solutions and their components consistently meet high standards of security, reliability, and availability, supported by the proactive implementation of robust monitoring systems. To support operational excellence, the service provider also develops and maintains comprehensive system-level documentation detailing all relevant procedures and activities. Requirements: ? University degree corresponding to Level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework (which typically corresponds to a master level or 5 years of higher education). At the minimum, the consultant must have a degree corresponding to at least 3 years after completion of secondary school (Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework, which typically corresponds to a bachelor?s level or 3 years of higher education), and for each missing year of education up to 5 years, the participant must demonstrate 2 years of relevant experience (that experience will be subtracted from the overall experience presented by the candidate). Degrees obtained prior to the implementation of the new system will satisfy the requirement if they have officially been recognised as equivalent by the competent authority. The training included in the studies cannot be counted as professional experience. A given period counts only once as studies or professional experience (even for a person working during his studies). Each successful year of study is counted as a full year from the starting date of the studies (e.g. a master?s degree is counted as 5 years independently of its start and end date). Each period of work is counted in months. A given month can never be counted twice, e.g. at the same time for studies and for professional experience. (except the training periods in enterprise that are part of the studies). ? Language knowledge (spoken and written) corresponding to at least Level B2 in both English and French. ? At least 15 years of experience in designing, configuring and leading the administration of large SharePoint environments. ?
