We are currently recruiting for one of our clients a: Senior Accountant - Italian Speaker (M/F) OUR CLIENT As a forward-thinking and independent financial services firm, our client provide tailored solutions in domiciliation, fund administration, accounting, tax compliance, and more. They foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and growth YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will take responsibility for a portfolio of companies, overlooking A to Z transactions including maintenance of accurate accounting records, cashbook entries, expenses, and payroll record keeping and posting of all necessary month/year-end transactions.
• Analysis of legal documentation (sales or purchase agreements, loan agreements, etc.).
• You will be responsible for preparing annual accounts according to Lux GAAP, Tax returns, periodic and annual VAT returns and regulatory returns (BCL reports)
• Handling inquiries from auditors, clients, and tax authorities, as well as addressing internal accounting-related issues, will be part of your responsibilities.
• You will have the opportunity to work with various clients
• Reporting on client needs and demands will be essential.
• Assisting with other accounting projects to improve the efficiency of the accounting processes will be part of your job including the guidance to the junior Accountant(s)
• You will stay informed of accounting, regulatory, tax and legal changes which impact the job role and advise management on needed actions
• Your mission will be to develop our business activity in our Italian office and establish connections with Luxembourg.

Requirements

The profile we are looking for:

• Diploma in Accounting, Audit, or Finance
• 5 years of professional experience in a fiduciary
• Familiarity with Luxembourg GAAP and Bob50
• Italian native speaker and Fluent in English ans French
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Proactive and initiative-driven
• High level of autonomy
• Organized and methodical approach
• A high degree of flexibility is required due to frequent travel to Italy
• Effective task prioritization and workload management
