- Bachelors in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or similar - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Amazons ATS (Amazon Transportation Services) Surface Transportation Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst to support our European supply chain. In simple terms, ATS is the part of Amazon that keeps things moving between Fulfillment Centers, Sortation, and Delivery Stations—making sure our customers get what they ordered, on time and with maximum efficiency. Key job responsibilities The candidate will design, develop, and maintain performance measurements, provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting, and drive special projects to continuously lower costs for customers and improve performance of ATS Network. Working with the technology teams, program management teams, and finance partners, the successful candidate will help in the prioritization and execution of key operations & technology programs which will ultimately accelerate the profitable growth of Amazon ATS Network. Acting as the finance controller, the person will manage the financial health of EU ATS Rail and SEA Programs. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning. Use data to identify disruptive ideas and provide advice to ATS business leaders. - Support weekly reporting, month-end close and financial planning, ensuring accurate and timely delivery. - Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports that drive optimal combination of cost and carbon emission reduction with delivery speed improvement. - Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs. Make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where there data may be scarce or difficult to procure. - Have backbone, disagree and commit to foster constructive dialogues, harmonize conflicting views, resolve issues, and drive decisions. - Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes, including implementation of best practices and automation initiatives, collaborating with technology teams. - Be able to identify incomplete or inaccurate data, identify root causes, escalate discrepancies, partnering on the resolution and executing fixes. - Prepare concise documents, tailored to various levels of stakeholders, and collaborate with operations leaders and other teams - Participate in hiring, developing, and mentoring peers and team members.

• Previous experience with logistics, supply chain or engineering
• MBA or other advance degree
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (f.e., SQL, Tableau, PowerBI Essbase, Cognos, etc.)
• Ability to process data and convey results by effectively articulating complex messages
