Description du posteFor one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for an :
The role supports the implementation of the project called Digital Regulatory Compliance Tool (DiReCT) within GR&C/OCCO, which aims to strengthen the regulatory requirements and related controls in compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures and guidelines in the relation to Market Abuse, Conflict of Interest and MiFiD.
The Project Manager role will contribute to both regulatory assessments and core project management activities, ensuring that DiReCT is implemented in a compliant, structured, and timely manner.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Regulatory & Compliance Assessments
• Coordinate and support the Information Security (InfoSec) assessment of DiReCT in collaboration with IT and relevant control functions.
• Contribute to the AI regulatory assessment, ensuring alignment with internal governance frameworks and anticipated EU AI Act requirements.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of Data Protection (DPO) documentation.
• Ensure consistency of assessments across regulatory domains (i.e. InfoSec, Data Protection, AI governance).
2. Stakeholder Coordination & Governance
• Act as coordination point between GR&C/OCCO/GCI/EMI/MIU, IT and the external Service Provider which provides the target digital solution; and
• other internal or external stakeholders
• Organise and facilitate workshops to gather requirements and validate regulatory controls.
• Support governance processes by preparing materials for internal decision bodies and management.
3. Project Management Support (DiReCT Implementation)
• Support the overall project planning and tracking across DiReCT implementation phases.
• Monitor progress of deliverables related to core modules and extended modules (as applicable)
• Identify risks and escalate them if necessary.
• Tracking issues via back locking dedicated tools.
4. Documentation & Audit Readiness
• Ensure that all regulatory assessments and project documentation are:
• Structured
• Traceable
• Audit-ready
• Support drafting of:
• Control descriptions
• Assessment summaries
• Compliance notes and recommendations
• Ensure alignment with internal compliance frameworks and policies.
5. Process Improvement & Integration
• Identify opportunities to integrate regulatory requirements into DiReCT design.
• Contribute to defining practical and usable compliance workflows within the tool.
• Support continuous improvement of compliance processes linked to DiReCT.
Nature and scope:
You will report to the Head of Unit with frequent contact with other GR&C-OCCO managers, staff members at all levels and close cooperation with stakeholders within the Bank in the various coordination departments, Internal Audit, and IT.
The post works both independently and as part of the team, seeking guidance on sensitive and/or complex issues under the supervision of the Head of Unit and with close cooperation with other relevant counterparties.
This post requires good negotiation skills with senior counterparties, in order to obtain buy-in for necessary changes. Furthermore, flexibility, strong achievement drive, a collaborative spirit, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, a willingness to work according to strict and often tight deadlines and to change priorities at short notice while still exercising a great deal of precision will be crucial to the success of this post.
Profil recherchéTypical background :
• Full University degree, preferably in in law, political science, economics or finance;
• At least 5 of relevant experience in Project Management or regulatory change initiatives, including proven experience in implementation of new processes, controls or standards;
• Very good functional understanding of Compliance topics within Financial Services and Capital Markets, business processes and related tools as well as knowledge of the regulatory framework in the financial sector.
• Experience as a compliance officer or in a project within a compliance department would be a key asset;
• Experience as consultant/specialized advisor in the area of compliance would be an asset;
• Sound knowledge in the areas of market abuse and conflict of interest would be an asset;
• Consolidated knowledge of front to back experience of Change Management would be an advantage;
• Sound knowledge of project management methodologies, ideally supported by a certification (Prince2, PMI, Agile, PM2 etc.);
• Good knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques used in business analysis and process engineering would be an advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of English and/or French. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.Salary ranges between 7,300€ and 9,700€ gross per month, depending on experience.APCT1_LU
