Junior Financial Controller

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a large international group, with an active global presence. As a Junior Financial Controller, you will assist the finance director and the senior financial controller and will actively participate in a broad scope of operational tasks.

You will be responsible for the accounting, cash management, reporting of Luxembourg holding companies.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Preparing and analyzing forecast analyses to support strategic decision-making
• Managing intra-group flows, including processing, recording, interest calculations, and reconciliations
• Preparing regulatory accounting reports, in accordance with LuxGAAP and IFRS for the consolidated financial statements, required by the group and financial institutions
• Supporting external auditors and providing support in the audit process
• Preparing and filing VAT declarations, including the preparation of worksheets
Creating and ensuring the link between the cash management and the financial tools

Candidate Profile :

• University degree (bachelor’s or similar) in Finance, Economics or any related fields
• At least 2 years of working experience in a similar function in an accounting/ auditing firm (Big 4 experience will be considered as an asset)
• Proficient in Excel
• Language Skills: Fluency in French and good level of English are a must
• Problem solver, passionate about process optimizations, autonomous, rigorous
• Very good communication skills
