Officer Network Management

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond promptly to commercial or operational events impacting the network
• Coordinate with internal departments (including Commercial Planning, Sales and Marketing, Flight Operations, Maintenance, Global Logistics) to optimize route economics and fleet utilization.
• Arrange re-routings and diversions, and re-establish schedules in response to market-driven, operational, geopolitical, and weather-related events.
• Adjust capacity in response to market fluctuations, holidays, and special customer requests, coordinating within the Cargolux group and with external parties.
• Evaluate and calculate ad-hoc requests for additional rotations, capacity, or commercial stops.
• Implement initial seasonal schedules and provide day-to-day ad-hoc supervisory updates.
• Generate and support analytical reports and route market studies.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Master’s degree in Aviation Operations, Management or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar multi-disciplinary position, with exposure to commercial, ground, or flight operations within a carrier.
• Solid understanding of the aviation supply chain and prior experience in the air cargo industry is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex multi-variable tasks. Proficiency in navigating complex policy, process, and organizational dynamics.
• Capability to plan and prioritize work in alignment with corporate objectives.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and observational skills. Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Windows OS; knowledge of AIMS is beneficial.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Full-time, permanent position based in Luxembourg.
• A Certificate of Good Conduct (Casier Judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required upon positive selection.
• Willingness to work shifts on a 24/7/365 basis.
