Junior Enterprise Application Administrator

As a Junior Enterprise Application Administrator, your mission is to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and security of our enterprise applications. You will provide essential support in managing, troubleshooting, and enhancing the software applications that are vital to our business operations. Your role involves collaborating with various teams to implement best practices, resolve issues promptly, and continuously improve application functionalities to meet business needs.

Job description

• Ensuring the business applications operations for our business users
• Supporting our users with application related IT problems (1 st and 2 nd level)
• Installing and configuring business applications
• Assuring regular updates and patches on our business applications
• Installing and configuring database systems based on Microsoft technologies
• User creation and access management for applications
• Monitoring the “well-being” of the business applications and related services, e.g., database systems
• Performing investigations on performance
• Proactive problem hunting
• Working on the continuous improvement of the overall application and database landscape
• Participating in application-related IT projects
• Assisting in backup / restore operations in the application and database context.
• Creating documentations
• Creating scripts and automations (e.g. T-SQL, PowerShell, Python, PowerAutomate)

Bachelor in Information Technologies (IT)

• Working experience with Microsoft SQL technologies and related services
• Working experience in Microsoft Windows Server systems
• Knowledge in Microsoft Azure environments
• Knowledge in Microsoft EntraID
• Good knowledge in English (oral and written)
• Good awareness for aspects of Cybersecurity, security awareness
• Good problems solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently (with some mentoring and guidance)
