AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Amazon SMGS EAs are the primary point of contact and information flow to and from a variety of teams, clients and partners to our senior leaders - we seek to hire and then offer continual development to the very best EAs ready to work in our fast paced, customer focused organization.
We are looking for bright and motivated candidates with experience of supporting multiple executives and who can demonstrate expertise with complex diary management, travel arrangements and expense recording as well as the set-up, budgeting and active management of small to mid-scale events for their teams.
Superior attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple requests is critical. Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior executives is imperative. A flexible approach is a must, and the ability to change direction at a moment’s notice.
As a community, the EAs work together to deliver large scale events and to share workload when priorities demand additional support - commitment to teamwork is essential.
Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include:
Work in partnership with senior leaders, functional business partners and other EAs to provide seamless support to the organization
Proactively manage executive calendars with attention to accuracy, detail and allocation of time to promote productivity and recognize the need to re prioritize as appropriate
Understand business priorities and identify process improvements to create efficiency and scale for the leadership team
Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
Organize and manage meetings, off-sites, launches, and team-based social events
Support annual operational planning process, business planning and performance review cycles
Work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships
Have fun at work and help others do the same
